It is rare to get snow this heavy right at the lake level at Tahoe, but this was not an ordinary January. Not much colder than usual, but a lot more snow! It makes it hard to get out- floundering and wallowing in the snow, and there are fewer places where you can park! But once you get there, it is wonderful!
