Description
Lake Tahoe has a rock with small trees that is known as Bonsai rock. The roots go down into cracks in the granite, but they must endure long dry spells, high above the water level. On rare occasions such as this, the lake looks more like the New England coast than Nevada, and the waves crash against the little trees with great force!
